Anchoring the Crystal Hills masterplan, the Twin Crystals emerge as sculptural icons symbolizing Guangzhou’s future-forward identity. These faceted, crystalline structures house a high-tech exhibition center and a corporate training hub, drawing inspiration from Lingnan cultural motifs and cutting-edge geometry.
Elevated on stilts, the buildings preserve views and enhance ventilation while creating an active, shaded public plaza beneath. This fusion of form and function promotes knowledge exchange, civic interaction, and spatial drama—transforming the Twin Crystals into a vibrant nucleus of innovation within a green, walkable urban environment.
Urban Ecology and Cultural Streetscapes
This masterplan envisions a dynamic interplay between the sculpted form of the “Crystal Hill” and the surrounding natural topography, creating a striking urban composition inspired by the contours of Lingnan hills.
